~*~ Cutting  Mated Av's Tutorial ~*~

Step 1 - you need to open any image and 16 mil it.

Step 2 - you will need to fix the settings 
[ will only need to do this once it will remember what you put ]

file > export > gif optimizer
- Transparency Tab
* make sure a dot is in - Existing image or layer transparency
- Partial Transparency Tab 
* make sure dot is in - Use full transparency for pixels below 5 % opacity
* make sure dot is in - No,use the existing image color at 100 % opacity
- Colors Tab
* How many colors do you want ? = 256
* How much dithering do you want ? = 100 %
* make sure dot is in - Optimized Octree
- Format Tab
* make sure dot is in - Non-Interlaced
* make sure dot is in - Version 89a
- Download Times Tab
* needs no changes !

Once you have done all the above settings click OK once. and save the image to anywhere. You need to do this so as the Gif Optimizer will hold the settings.
~ Note: settings are same for psp 7 & 8 ~

Here We Go !!!
[ PsP 7 ]
Step 1 -Open your mated av you need to cut and 16 mil it

Step 2 - ** click on selection tool and check the settings in tool options box 
selection type = rectangle
feather = 0
antialias = ticked

Step 3 - ** click on your CROP tool
run your mouse over the av you will notice bottom left corner a set of numbers
in a ( bracket).

Step 4 - ** put your mouse in the top left side till the numbers bottom left read (0,0) then left click and hold , drag your mouse till the numbers bottom left say (102,116) once you have this number let go of mouse,

 you will notice a box appear on the image, now left click 2 times fast and the image will shrink to just show the framed box area!

 Now top Edit > Copy then top Edit > Paste > as new image, you should now have a copy of the orignal box you made, move it down under the image out the way for now ! 

Step 5 - ** click on the orignal image top bar [ to highlight it] then click undo once, you should now have a full image again.

Step 6 - ** repeat the above but this time start point is top right (204,0) or close to then left click and hold , drag your mouse till the numbers bottom left say (102,116) once you have this number let go of mouse,

 you will notice a box appear on the image, now left click 2 times fast and the image will shrink to just show the framed box area!

 Now top Edit > Copy then top Edit > Paste > as new image, you should now have a copy of the orignal box you made, move it down under the image out the way for now !

Step 7 - ** click on the orignal image top bar [ to highlight it] then click undo once, you should now have a full image again.
~~ by now you should have 1 x orignal full image & 2 halves
[ one of each side being 102 x 116 in sze ].

Step 8 - ** Click on one of the half images top bar to highlight it then go to top File > Export > Gif Optimizer ........... click OK ... 

browse to where you wish to save image to name it ..l normaly name mine > [person name ]@winzieleft26-5-9 & [person name ]@winzieright26-5-9
** repeat above for other side naming it opisite to the 1st one you did.

And Your Done !!!!!!!
